TEACHINGS
The Teachings that Shawn offers primarily center on mastering the human experience and bringing a Divine Level of Consciousness into our daily lives.
Mastery of an experience means becoming vulnerable to it, and knowing what it is to be affected by life. In the same way that we would welcome the caress of a lover, we encourage life to touch us with trial, desire, and misperception. We do this so that we can gain more experience and learn to perceive clearly, and act virtuously even though we may be compelled to do otherwise. We gain the power to maintain and elevated perception of Self, through becoming conscious of suffering.
To master an experience we must know it intimately, as ourselves, so that we gain the ability to see and act freely, without being controlled by the experiences life brings us. To be conscious of life, accepting of all experience, grants us the ultimate power. Instead of ruling with fear, love becomes our strength, and life happily accepts us, as we accept it. |
Vulnerability means to be conscious of an experience, and humble enough to be affected by it. In life we often try to remain unaffected by painful experiences because they make us aware of suffering and unaffected by pleasant experiences because we feel unworthy or are afraid it will end.
To be vulnerable is to allow ourselves to be intimately touched by all experience, as we would welcome a beloved friend into our arms. We learn to see much more clearly, and gain the maximum benefit of the experience. |
By allowing life to affect us, we gain wisdom, we become more conscious. We then develop the ability to remain focused, clear sighted, present. We learn to Love in an undefined way. In time we can remain completely absorbed in divine consciousness, even when facing the most severe of life’s trials.
Power is Love. It is the desire to become closer, to know more deeply. It is the force that drives the universe.
Power comes from experience. If you have the tools and experience you can repair or build anything. If you are lost in the wilderness and are empowered by experience surviving on your own, you are more likely to make it through the night. If you trained in martial arts you will be better prepared to defend yourself if a situation should arise. If you had practiced learning a new language, you will be able to communicate with people that you otherwise couldn’t have. |

The same applies to spiritual concepts. If you allow yourself to be affected, you gain experience and are empowered by it. Power naturally arises when consciously absorbed in an experience. With practice we can learn to carry this new energy and point of view into life.
Completely affected by the richness of life, yet utterly immovable. Absolutely vulnerable, yet supremely empowered.

When leading a group class out of another business location there is a set rate which is negotiated between himself and the owner of that location. Topics can vary depending on emphasis.
Shawn also likes to offer donation based group teachings in local parks when weather is permitting. Topics may vary from question and answer sessions to a theme of the day.
When providing a seminar experience, all expenses must be covered. Shawn operates on a donation basis with a suggested donation of $200 dollars for a two-day weekend seminar. |

Those who can afford to pay the full amount are asked to. Those who cannot afford $200 dollars upfront my use a payment plan, or they may pay what they can. Some attendees are likely to pay nothing at all.
Shawn offers private teaching via skype or in person depending on what is most practical. These personal classes are the ultimate in intense experience. In private training Shawn will give you his full attention. Initiation and esoteric wisdom is transmitted during these sessions. Shawn will personally guide you to reach whatever you seek. These classes also come with unlimited email consultation.
Shawn does answer questions via email. However depending on time and circumstances your issues may not be addressed promptly. If you are not a direct student of Shawn there is no guarantee you will receive an answer. Questions of a similar nature from several individuals are likely to be addressed in youtube video or blog format so that more people can benefit.
Shawn posts videos on a wide variety of topics on his YouTube.com channel to bring wsdom to a wider audience for those who do not wish to receive personal instruction.
Shawn operates on a donation basis except for when listed above. If Shawn takes time to guide you it is asked that you offer a donation. A donation is supposed to represent a “sacrifice.” This is symbolic of the exchange that goes on, as well as that you are willing to take power from your ego and give it to your soul. The amount should not hinder your quality of life.

If you are a private student the suggested donation is $45 dollars per hour. However, Shawn will happily guide those with less income. $45 is simply a number that i f enough people pay that amount each week, he can afford to spend more time teaching those with limited financial means, rather than by making money in other ways.
Shawn teaches many people for free but this means that he needs to spend more time earning a living for himself. Once expenses are consistently covered through spirituality he will be able to provide more training opportunities.
To sum up questions about donation: If you have benefitted from Shawn’s guidace, give an amount that represents a sacrifice. This amount should not make it difficult to live. If there is no suggested donation amount give something. You are free to pay as much or as little as you like. Those who pay more than the suggested amount allow those with lesser means to more easily receive the guidance they seek.
